PROFILE –Gerry Lynch GEM ASSOCIATES

A very practical training professional who enjoys designing and delivering very participative training events to organisations who want to get the best from their people. When delivering training, Gerry’s aim is to encourage delegates to learn by becoming more self-aware and critically examine their current behaviour so that they become more effective in managing their people. He also encourages them to learn from mistakes, embrace change and have fun!

Gerry is a non-executive Director of a small company in Wales who provide a unique solution to the electrical industry to install cable within buildings.

In 2006 they won an award from NICEIC for the “Best Electrical Product” over the last 50 years and were runners-up in “Best Small Business in Wales” for 2007. He is currently providing them with consultancy on their business strategy and People Development Plan to sustain a growth target of 100% over the next 5 years.

Gerry’s particular strengths lie in Performance Management. He has worked with organisations such as British Energy, Npower and Ball Packaging training their managers how to use set targets for their people that deliver superb results for their customers and shareholders alike.
